Tattooing a Meaningful Sleep Token Butterfly with Galina Rivina | Comedy Ink Season 1 FinaleJan 23, 2026 · 1 hr 12 minIn the Season 1 finale of Comedy Ink, I sit down with comedian Galina Rivina for a layered, funny, and metal conversation as we tattoo a deeply meaningful piece.
We talk about our shared experience as Ukrainian Jews, touch briefly on our Soviet roots, and then spiral (lovingly) into Galina’s near-religious devotion to Sleep Token and the song “Bring Me to Eden.” From tattoo symbolism to her move to Austin, her evolving relationship with stand-up comedy, and what it means to start over in a new city creatively, this episode feels like a full-circle moment.
Also, I test out my Meta Ray-Ban glasses, because of course I do.

We get deep into anime, the symbolic meaning of the glider, and Jared’s personal journey through religion, spirituality, and identity. That path sparked a lifelong hunger for understanding culture, history, and people, something he now channels directly into his stand-up comedy. It’s nerdy, thoughtful, funny, and philosophical in that sneaky way comedy sometimes is.

- Tattooing Disney’s Robin Hood with Comedian Roxxy Haze | Comedy Ink Ep. 5Jan 23, 2026 · 1 hr 7 minIn Episode 5 of Comedy Ink, I tattoo comedian Roxxy Haze as she finally immortalizes her lifelong crush on Disney’s Robin Hood — yes, the fox, yes, that says a lot, and yes, we unpack it.
We talk about Roxxy’s love of anime, being unapologetic nerds, why Robin Hood still rules, and what it’s like sharing the same manager (who we both love dearly). Along the way, we zoom out on comedy, creativity, and why leaning into what you love is always cooler than pretending you’re not a dork.

- Tattooing a Passed Pup Memorial with Comedian Andrew Orolfo | Comedy Ink Ep. 3Nov 23, 2025 · 1 hr 10 minIn this episode of Comedy Ink, I tattoo comedian Andrew Orolfo as he memorializes his late puppy pal. A heartfelt piece that sparks an honest, funny, and deeply human conversation.
We talk about grief, comedy roots in the Bay Area, the obsession with vintage clothing, and the love-hate relationship every comedian has with social media. It’s a beautiful mix of laughs, reflection, and nostalgia, the kind of real talk that only happens when there’s a needle buzzing and memories on the line.

- Tattooing Lily of the Valley with Comedian Jenny Zigrino | Comedy Ink Ep. 2Nov 15, 2025 · 1 hr 6 minIn Episode 2 of Comedy Ink, I sit down with one of my closest friends Jenny Zigrino. She is a wonderful comedian, writer, actress, and all-around chaotic delight, she'd approve of that description... I think.
As I tattoo a design inspired by Jenny’s sister who recently passed away, we dive into everything from relationship icks and AI trying (and failing) to write jokes in our voices, to what it feels like being Jewish in today’s world. It’s raw, funny, and unexpectedly touching, exactly the kind of conversation that happens when ink meets honesty.
Also: Fun note, I'm wearing a sweatshirt that I designed when I was staying with Jenny in New York, and it's based on our fav little deli in Brooklyn. Only three people own this sweater. Jenny, her friend who was obsessed with it when she saw it, and me.
🎙 Guest: Jenny Zigrino
