- Don't Scratch Your Left Hand! | Practical Magic | Lounge LizardsOct 12, 2024 · 1 hr 3 minBe careful what you wish for, girls! In honor of spooky season, the Lounge Lizards are discussing Ashlynn's all-time favorite movie, Practical Magic. Seriously…she can recite the film word for word, and she plays a game to prove it! It begs the question — was she born into a coven??
In this episode, we question how critics could possibly give this cinematic masterpiece a 25% on Rotten Tomatoes, praise the perfectly mystical soundtrack featuring rock's favorite witch, Stevie Nicks, and decipher the meaning behind many… interesting superstitions. Tune in to find out who we're doing a blood oath with and if we'd resurrect someone from the dead!

- White People Love to Separate | Scary Movie 2 | Lounge LizardsOct 5, 2024 · 43 minWhile spooky season has a mandatory watchlist of horror films, witchy romcoms, and unsettling thrillers, us Lounge Lizards decided to kick off our Halloween watch party with a classic horror spoof, Scary Movie 2 — because nothing is more on brand for Ashlynn and Kate than to pick the least obvious movie choice (not even the OG Scary Movie??)
Join us as we chat about Halloween, the Wayans Family dynasty, and dissect the comedic genius of the first two Scary Movies! In true Lounge Lizard form, we play a rousing game of FMK and also pitch our own spoof movies. 👻

- What Part? | RHOSLC S5 EP1 | Lounge LizardsSep 26, 2024 · 53 minCatch us in the après ski lounge — where the drinks are chilled, but the drama is sizzling! On this week's episode of Lounge Lizards, Ashlynn and Kate head across the country to Mormon territory exploring the fascinating lives of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. We're celebrating the fifth season premiere of Bravo's hit franchise — trying to serve our own taglines, chat about how we're Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow apologists, and wonder how we'd fare as Bravo housewives…
Join us as we discuss the evolution of this franchise, and how this season seems to negate any naysayers that didn't think it would level up post-exit of last season's villain, Monica. Will Meredith and Whitney team up together to release a bath bomb collaboration? Who will Mary M. Cosby call inbred now that Heather is Ozempic-ified? Is Bronwyn wearing a costume or couture?

- Yassify or Not To Yassify | Uglies | Lounge LizardsSep 19, 2024 · 52 minAre you an Ugly or are you a Pretty? On this week's episode of Lounge Lizards, Ashlynn and Kate talk about the recently released Netflix fever dream, Uglies, based on the YA series written by Scott Westerfeld. This movie has everything a preteen is looking for in a dystopian future — hoverboards, Instagram filters, and evil hot people!
Listen as we try to understand the psyche behind McG's directing choices, the tuneless EDM bops on the soundtrack, and whether or not we'd get plastic surgery for a better tomorrow! What would you change about yourself if it meant "saving the world?" Would you let Laverne Cox give you a fierce makeover?

- Is Grandma ALWAYS watching over you? | BeetleJuice 2 | Lounge LizardsSep 12, 2024 · 53 minJust be warned…if you say it once more, there shall be chaos and hell in store! On this episode of Lounge Lizards, Ashlynn and Kate review Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the sequel to the 1988 cult classic created by living legend, Tim Burton. In case you were wondering if this sequel could ever live up to the OG — we will certainly give you the tea!
We're discussing WHY certain cast members may not be available for the sequel * DRAMA*, how we'd want to hitch a ride on the Soul Train, and how Tim Burton is always casting his latest squeeze in his films. See if you can stack up against Kate's knowledge of Tim Burton cinematography, pick your own FMK partners from the franchise, and drop a line about whatever song you'd choose to up the "Day-O" ante!
