Life is a continuous escaping of boxes......Jan 21, 2026 · 17 minSend us Fan Mail Life doesn’t trap us all at once, it does it gradually, through expectations, roles, and identities that once made sense but slowly start to feel tight. In this episode, we unpack the idea that life is a continuous escaping of one box after the next, and why discomfort is often a sign of growth rather than failure. This episode explores why caring so deeply about other people’s opinions keeps us confined, how self-betrayal quietly builds over time, and what it actually takes to step out of a box without needing permission or approval. We attract what we want....but forget the process....Jan 7, 2026 · 21 minSend us Fan Mail In this episode, Lisa Marie explores the often-overlooked truth behind attraction: while we are quick to name what we want, we rarely prepare for what it takes to obtain and sustain it. Attraction does not begin with receiving, it begins with becoming. Through real-life examples tied to finances, relationships, peace, and personal growth, this episode breaks down how desire is followed by a refinement process that challenges habits, patterns, discipline, and self-awareness. What many perceive as loss, delay, or disruption is often the necessary work required to create stability, alignment, and capacity. This conversation centers on accountability, patience, and discernment, highlighting why growth frequently feels uncomfortable before it feels rewarding. Rather than romanticizing outcomes, the episode emphasizes respecting the process that shapes us into people capable of holding what we ask for. Ultimately, this episode reminds listeners that attraction is not passive, it requires consistency, responsibility, and the willingness to release what no longer fits. Support the show

I no longer chase......Aug 13, 2025 · 12 minSend us Fan Mail There’s a difference between pursuing something and chasing it. Pursuit is mutual. It’s two people moving toward each other with equal effort. Chasing is one-sided; it’s you running after someone or something that’s walking away. I used to think that if someone started to drift, it was my job to close the gap. I’d call first, text first, plan the meet-ups, carry the conversation, and make excuses for why they weren’t doing the same. The truth is, my reactions and pulling were driven by fear - fear of losing people, fear of being forgotten, and fear that maybe I wasn’t worth staying for unless I overcompensated. The cost of chasing is subtle but expensive. You lose time, you lose peace, and eventually, you lose yourself. You start believing that the effort you put in determines your worth, when in reality, the right people will show you. You matter without you having to constantly prove it. There's something you need to knowNov 26, 2024 · 16 minSend us Fan Mail I've been sitting on this message for a while, and today felt like the right day to share it. As we near the end of 2024, there's often an internal urge to do things differently, to let go of the old and embrace new beginnings. Many of us carry heaviness without even realizing it, and we sometimes burden others with our issues, expecting them to fix things for us. This message is for those who feel heavy or have heavy people around them. Life is inherently heavy at times, but it's unfair to bleed on others and expect them to be content with our residue. Some burdens are meant to be released, not shared. Healing begins with acknowledgment and self-reliance, not by waiting for someone else to carry our weight. It's crucial to understand that letting go doesn't signify weakness—it's our pathway to freedom. Finally, as we approach the new year, it's important to realize that the answers we seek lie within us. We need to sit with ourselves, find peace, and, if necessary, seek wise counsel from those who can genuinely support us. My wish is that these words resonate with you and help awaken a dormant place in your heart and mind. If you know someone who might need to hear this, please share the message with them. Love doesn't embody controlOct 29, 2024 · 16 minSend us Fan Mail Love doesn’t embody control; it thrives in freedom. True love nurtures individuality and respects boundaries, allowing each person to grow in their own way. It is not about possession, manipulation, or coercion, but about trust, respect, and mutual understanding. Love encourages self-expression and empowers both individuals to be their authentic selves without fear of judgment or retribution. It embraces vulnerability and imperfection, knowing that genuine connection is born from acceptance, not domination. Support the show

Staying Grounded: Silence and Emotional IntelligenceSep 17, 2024 · 9 minSend us Fan Mail In this episode, I address the power of choosing not to react when people try to provoke us, either intentionally or unintentionally. I emphasize that not every action needs a reaction and that engaging in unnecessary conflicts only drains our energy and disrupts our peace. I encourage everyone to understand the importance of silence and how it can be a powerful response. Silence doesn't mean weakness; it can signify strength and control over one's emotions. Throughout the episode, I highlight the significance of protecting our peace and urge everyone to reflect before reacting, asking themselves if the conversation will truly lead to greater understanding or just more frustration. Prioritizing peace over conflict, I advocate for walking away from arguments and choosing silence over drama. Finally, I want to to remind everyone that they are not obligated to engage in every conflict and should feel empowered to guard their peace. Support the show

From Exhaustion to Empowerment: Breaking Free from People PleasingAug 23, 2024 · 31 minSend us Fan Mail In this episode of Seasoned Dialogue, we're diving deep into the world of people pleasing. People pleasing often leads to a severe lack of boundaries, self-esteem issues, and a constant need for validation. I know firsthand that changing this behavior is challenging and forces us to reflect on our fears—whether it’s fear of rejection or grappling with low self-esteem. I recommend strategies like writing down your feelings and setting clear boundaries to begin overcoming these tendencies. It’s also crucial to manage guilt, affirm your self-worth, and limit exposure to negative influences for self-care. It’s equally important to celebrate your progress, no matter how small, in setting boundaries and prioritizing yourself. After all, saying yes to yourself and no to others sometimes is necessary for mental and emotional well-being. Failing to set boundaries can take a real toll on your health, impacting your lifestyle and overall well-being. Prioritizing self-care isn’t just a buzzword; it’s essential for your happiness. Happiness should always come from within, and it's not your responsibility to make others happy. People pleasers not only lack boundaries but also feel responsible for others' feelings. This leads to exhaustion and resentment because there's rarely any reciprocation. It's a constant cycle of prioritizing others at the expense of self, which can even strain relationships due to an inability to be authentic or communicate openly. I host self-love coaching sessions for both men and women to address these deep-rooted issues. In these sessions, we focus on doing the work with intention to foster genuine self-love and personal growth. Remember, your worth isn’t tied to how useful or agreeable you are to others. I hope this encapsulates the essence of the podcast episode for you! Self Love Coaching Consultation https://lisamarie.info/shop/58ce38d6-f16a-4b3c-943a-eb76c6a4b014 Support the show

The PivotJul 23, 2024 · 22 minSend us Fan Mail In this episode of "The Pivot," I offer motivational advice for those struggling with indecision and fear. The importance of taking small steps toward one's goals and understanding that these minor pivots can lead to significant changes are important. 1. **Incremental Progress**: Take small, manageable steps toward your goals. Even a single pivot or decision can move you closer to your objectives. 2. **Overcoming Fear**: Fear often holds people back from making necessary changes. Embrace change despite the fear, what's on the other side of needed decisions is worth the discomfort. 3. **Faith and Prayer**: Praying for guidance and for the right people to come into your life can make a significant difference. 4. **Seek Wisdom**: Surround yourself with wise, loving individuals who can provide insights and guidance. However, also be cautious about whom you share your plans with, as negativity or ignorance from others can be detrimental. 5. **Be True to Yourself**: Consistently emphasize the importance of staying true to who you are, embracing your authentic self, and not letting fear or societal pressure change your core values. 6. **Action is Required**: It's not enough to have faith or pray; you also need to take action toward your goals. God helps those who help themselves by taking actionable steps. 7. **Process Over Perfection**: Understand that nothing is perfect from the get-go. Life is a series of steps and processes. Trust the process and believe that everything will work out in due time. 8. **Value of Memories**: Capture moments through pictures as they tell a story and serve as a grounding reminder of how you felt at a particular moment in time. 9. **Support and Encouragement**: The importance of community and support, sharing your stories, and supporting each other provides a strong impact. 10. **Navigate Setbacks**: View setbacks or "no's" as opportunities to learn and build rather than as definitive ends. This involves understanding the reasons behind a setback and actively working to overcome them. Support the show
How to Stay Grounded When Others Distort the TruthJul 17, 2024 · 24 minSend us Fan Mail In this episode we discuss the emotional turmoil and reactions that arise when someone distorts the truth about a falling-out, making the victim appear to be the aggressor. People shift blame to protect their self-esteem and avoid guilt or responsibility for negative outcomes. This behavior stems from a lack of honesty, self-accountability, and the fear of consequences. I also introduce the concept of cognitive dissonance, where individuals hold contradictory beliefs that cause internal conflict, leading them to blame others rather than face the truth. Preserving one's emotional well-being by not wasting energy on correcting false narratives and by distancing oneself from toxic individuals is an important aspect to consider. The significance of maintaining self-respect and self-worth highlights the need to recognize and avoid problematic people while keeping one's peace. Ultimately, focus on your well-being and let go of the need to overexplain or correct the misconceptions of others. Support the show
