- S6E4 Are Pandas Just Costumed Dudes in Disguise with John CampanelliJul 16, 2026 · 40 minS6E4: Are Pandas Just Costumed Dudes in Disguise? (with John Campanelli)
Are giant pandas (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) a marvel of natural selection, or are they just highly paid actors sweating it out inside heavy plush suits to fuel a multi-million dollar international conservation scam?
This week, the crew dives deep into the bizarre biology of the world's favorite lazy carnivore. From their evolutionary choice to eat toxic grass all day to their infamous need for mood lighting and performance drugs just to keep the species going, the math simply isn't checking out. To help us unmask the truth, standout stand-up comedian John Campanelli joins the desk to break down the evidence, pitch his own wild theories, and reveal which modern historical figures might actually be a complete fabrication.
A QUICK PRODUCTION NOTE FROM THE TEAM:
We want to sincerely apologize for the audio quality on this week's episode. Koji completely messed up the recording settings in the home studio before we pressed track. He knows it sounds a little rough, he feels terrible about it, and he solemnly promises to do better next time. Thank you for bearing with us!
In this episode, we cover:
• The Animatronic Zoo Opener: Why we think alligators and koalas are operating on mechanical gyroscopes.
• The Incompetence Evolution: How pandas weaponized pretty privilege to force humans into taking care of them.
• The Taiwan Bear Scandal: That real-life 1980s incident where a zoo painted a sun bear black and white.
• The Modern Fabrication List: Why the crew suspects Banksy, Leonardo da Vinci, and a certain tech billionaire are entirely fake or alien vessels.
🎧 Listen, subscribe, and leave us a 5-star review to keep us ahead of the algorithm (and help fund Koji's future audio engineering lessons)!
About the Guest:
John Campanelli’s debut album Nervous led LAFT Magazine to call him “A comedian for the people,” while his second release, New Phone, Who Is This?, hit #1 for New Comedy Releases. He has toured with Dane Cook, recently played Radio City Music Hall on Matt Rife’s ProbleMATTic World Tour, and appeared in Esther Povitsky’s Comedy Central special Hot For My Name and feature film Drug Store June. - S6E2 Bill Gates, Skynet Farms, and the Black Market RibeyeJun 18, 2026 · 53 minS6E3: Bill Gates, Skynet Farms, and the Black Market Ribeye
Fire up the grills, grab a cold drink, and prep your tinfoil hats, because summer grilling season is officially here! This month, Cat, Dwayne, and Koji tackle a heavy-hitting question that’s been sizzling all over the internet: Does Bill Gates want to destroy the cattle industry?
To help us slice through the meat of this massive tech-agriculture conspiracy, we welcome international stand-up comedian and former comedy-wrestler Eric Escobar (Hulu’s Comedy InvAsian, CBS’s Comics Unleashed). Together, the crew dissects Bill Gates’ massive 270,000-acre American farmland monopoly and his public push for 100% synthetic beef. Is he trying to save the planet from bovine methane emissions, or is he hoarding land to create a vertical monopoly that will relegate real steak to a 1% black market luxury item?
Plus, we break down the May 8, 2026 UFO Disclosure and the government's brand new public database at war.gov/ufo. We wrap things up with a high-stakes round of "Yay or Nay" featuring 5 outrageous food conspiracies involving insect fragments in your smoothies, fake honey, and the terrifying truth behind natural vanilla flavoring.
About the Guest:

- S5E6 Was James Dean’s ‘Little Bastard’ Porsche cursedSep 19, 2025 · 54 minIn this rib-tickling episode, Koji, Dwayne, and Cat hilariously stumble into the bizarre and often sidesplitting world of cursed objects and superstitions, joined by guest writer and comedian Vanessa Graddick. They tackle the legendary tale of James Dean's Porsche 550 Spyder, ominously dubbed "Little Bastard" (because apparently, "Speedy McDeathtrap" was already taken), diving headfirst into the alleged curse that accompanied the iconic actor's tragic fate. The conversation effortlessly swerves through cultural insights and personal anecdotes, from comically wishing playful curses on everyday annoyances like malfunctioning podcast equipment (is it too much to ask for a tech exorcism?) and road rage offenders (who really should have their own lane on the highway to nowhere), to captivating chats about unlucky numbers and the curious legacy of cursed items. This episode serves up humor with a side of nostalgia, taking listeners on a giggle-inducing ride through Hollywood's dark legends and playful banter, all while pondering whether these curses are just coincidences or supernatural shenanigans pulling a fast one on us.
ABOUT OUR GUEST Vanessa Graddick is a fearless stand-up comedian and producer known for her sharp wit, emotional depth, and fast-paced delivery. A former social worker turned comic, she’s toured internationally, entertained U.S. troops, and appeared on Comedy Central, BET, and The Real Husbands of Hollywood. - S5E2 Stargates with Comdian JonesyMay 15, 2025 · 42 minDive into the hilariously outlandish world of science fiction and conspiracy theories with this side-splitting podcast episode that takes you on a joyride through the universe's quirkiest secrets. We kick off with a debate about the critical importance of lightsaber colors in Star Wars—because everyone knows picking the wrong color could turn your Jedi feng shui into a cosmic disaster. This whimsical discussion opens the floodgates to a galaxy of fandoms, sprinkled with enough absurdity to make even a Wookiee snort with laughter.
Dwayne Perkins, Koji Steven Sakai, and guest host Jonesy take listeners on a comedic journey through ancient myths and wildly speculative theories about Stargates, suggesting that your GPS might just be influenced by some interstellar jokester. They even tackle the mysteries of the Antikythera device with a raised eyebrow, hypothesizing about lost technologies and time-altering gadgets that would make Doc Brown's DeLorean look like a rusty old tricycle. In a playful twist, the episode throws in some contemporary political figures, hilariously speculating on the influence of 'alien' entities—because let's face it, who wouldn't want to blame their latest political blunder on E.T.? Packed with laughter, curiosity, and storytelling as imaginative as a three-headed space llama, this episode is your one-way ticket to a galaxy far, far away where humor and human imagination reign supreme. Grab your tinfoil hat and join the fun!

- S4E6 - Did aliens visit Zimbabwe to tell children the world was ending with David KauSep 19, 2024 · 47 minIn this episode, we dive into the captivating world of alien encounters through the unique lens of South African culture, guided by the insightful and entertaining comedian David Kau. A celebrated stand-up comic and filmmaker, David shares his experiences growing up in South Africa, exploring the nuanced distinctions between being "colored" and "mixed," and how these identities shape cultural narratives around extraterrestrial phenomena. We revisit the extraordinary 1994 UFO sighting at Ariel School in Zimbabwe, where 60 children claimed to have witnessed an alien landing, sparking discussions on why aliens might target young, impressionable minds in resource-rich Africa. The episode is rich with personal anecdotes, from childhood musings about aliens to the impact of cultural beliefs on the plausibility of such encounters. Join us as we also speculate on the messages aliens might have for future leaders, the role of influential South Africans like Elon Musk, and delve into broader socio-political contexts, all while enjoying the humor and wit that David brings to the table.
Apologize for the not so great sound quality. It was recorded on Zoom.

We're piling on a Disney-sized serving of conspiracy theories that might change your view of the animated film 'Frozen'. This month’s guest is the super talented writer, actor, and comedian Sierra Katow.

- S3E4 Extraterrestrial Superstar Celebrities with Comedian JonesyJul 20, 2023 · 55 minCould your favorite celeb be an extraterrestrial? Imagine if your pop culture hero was actually a holograph-disguised lizard person...sounds too far-fetched? Hold up, we've got an episode that might just change your mind! We were thrilled to hang out with our buddy Jonesy, a stand-up comedian and actor from Boston, cracking some jokes while discussing his podcast Weird AF News and the unusual fan mail he's received. Jonesy's twist on the world had us laughing and pondering all at once as we navigated through Twilight Zone episodes, love potions, and Swedish death cleaning!
Now the real meat - we ventured into the wild world of conspiracy theories, namely the theory that some celebrities might be lizard people in disguise. It sounds outrageous, we know, but we had an intriguing chat, considering David X's book, 'The Biggest Secret', holographic technology, and the ways to discern a lizard person among us. Moving on, we also examined the phenomenon of alien abductions, discussing the messages they reportedly convey to us and the concept of Tulpa - putting enough energy into a thought to make it come alive.
Lastly, we took a lighter tone and played with the idea of famous people being aliens. We took a humorous spin on Donald Trump's success and Mark Zuckerberg's uncanny mannerisms, and we even explored the idea that celebrities could be robots, not aliens. We referenced the Turing test, Terminator movies, and the implausible notion that some professions might be more prone to be robotic in nature.

- S3E1 is the earth flat hollow or been sucked in a black hole FINAL EDIT & and MIXApr 20, 2023 · 50 minThe Unofficial Official Story team is back with a bang for the third season of "The Unofficial Official Story"! We're all about the paranormal, conspiracies, unexplained phenomena, cryptids, and true crime - basically, anything that gets our hearts racing and our minds whirring. We're a curious bunch, and we're not afraid to admit it!
But don't get us wrong - we're not just all talk. We're also keen to experience paranormal activities for ourselves, even if we're a little skeptical about it all. And speaking of new experiences, we're thrilled to introduce our new host, the hilarious and talented Cat Alvarado! She's got a fascinating background, growing up in the City of Angels and making a name for herself in the world of comedy and writing.
Of course, we can't resist a good conspiracy theory, and we've got some doozies for you this season. Have you heard about the flat earth theory? Or the hollow earth theory? And what about the wild idea that the earth has been sucked into a black hole? We'll be debating these and other philosophical questions about the nature of knowledge and consciousness.
But we're not all serious business - we like to have a little fun too! For example, have you ever considered the inefficiency of cows as a food source? We have, and we've got some alternative ideas - like eating crickets instead! And speaking of saving the planet, we'll be discussing the idea of reducing the world's population to solve environmental issues.
So buckle up, folks - it's going to be a wild ride this season on "The Unofficial Official Story"!
