Looking for a great comedy show in the East Valley? Check out the Main Street Comedy Show in downtown Mesa! You’ll enjoy an amazing blend of storytelling and improv comedy as our storyteller shares humorous tales and our talented performers improvise comedy sketches based on them. This week's stories are told by artist Walonda Williams. While attending Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, Walonda was mentored by three powerful artists. Carla Harryman offered otherworldly perspective through creative writing. Ron Allen disintegrated conventional knowledge. He insisted that she write, using organic processes and relax into her instinct. Professor Glenda Dickerson led her to spiritualize and personalize performance. Through her writing, performances and theatrical productions; she commits to unleashing marginalized voices.  Grateful that the Neighborhood Comedy Theatre fuels empowerment and laughter, Walonda is thrilled to have this opportunity to explore the sheer joy of storytelling. Enjoy an unforgettable night as our talented cast members turn those tales into hilarious improv comedy scenes right before your eyes. The Main Street Comedy Show is a popular event and reservations are strongly recommended.
