Looking for a great comedy show in the East Valley? Check out the Main Street Comedy Show in downtown Mesa! You’ll enjoy an amazing blend of storytelling and improv comedy as our storyteller shares humorous tales and our talented performers improvise comedy sketches based on them. This week's stories are from Screenwriter Brian McAuley: Brian McAuley is the USA Today Bestselling author of Breathe In, Bleed Out, which was also nominated for the 2025 Goodreads Choice Awards. Esquire dubbed his debut novel Curse of the Reaper one of the Best Horror Books of 2022. Brian’s holiday horror novella Candy Cain Kills earned praise from Library Journal, Booklist, and Kirkus Reviews, plowing the path for Candy Cain Kills Again: The Second Slaying. As a WGA screenwriter, Brian has written film and television projects for Netflix, Syfy, and Lifetime Networks. He teaches as a screenwriting professor at ASU’s Sidney Poitier New American Film School. Follow Brian @brianmcwriter on instagram or his website http://www.brianmcwriter.com/ The Main Street Comedy Show is a popular event and reservations are strongly recommended.
