Jeffrey Keller Chloe Radcliffe Subhah Agarwa John Bennett Kyle Wayne Janice Messitte Chase Durousseau Featured in Time Out New York, and the New York Comedy Festival, Tight Pants Comedy earned a reputation for their raucous East Village shows, featuring national headliners alongside hilarious under-the-radar New York favorites. Friday Night Live brings the fun and energy of Tight Pants to Times Square for a prime time, bigger-than-ever performance, in an elevated setting. Previous lineups include comedians from Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Comedy Central, and more! Come witness this one-of-a-kind show for yourself! https://www.kylewaynecomedy.com/tight-pants-comedy-press-kit In 2022, Kyle Wayne and John Bennett joined forces to establish Tight Pants Comedy, an independent comedy collective focused on bringing comedy shows featuring top talent, to their favorite venues in NYC. Since then, Tight Pants has produced over 100 shows, at various clubs and venues across the city. The name “Tight Pants” plays on the fact that Kyle and John are both millennials who enjoy skinny jeans, despite the fact that Gen Z has proclaimed them “uncool”. Although Kyle and John are themselves millennials, Tight Pants is a true cross-section of the New York Comedy Scene, and often includes performers and audience members of all ages. In 2024, Tight Pants launched the Tight Pants Tight Five Comedy Competition—a four month-long contest do determine “Who has the best tight five in NYC?”. With over 150+ comedians participating, the competition officially became New York’s largest standup comedy contest. They went on to break their own record in 2025, co-producing the Comfy Clash comedy competition, featuring 250+ comedians. In November 2024, Tight Pants was featured in New York Comedy Festival, and set the St. Marks Comedy Club attendance record at their sold-out all-headliner show. Kyle Wayne is a Brooklyn-based comedian, born and raised in Iowa. Kyle performs regularly at clubs across New York City and the tristate area, along with shows in Austin, Los Angeles, the Midwest, and Europe. Outside of comedy, Kyle’s sets typically include sizeable chunks of crowd work, and written material that often draws inspiration from his career in the field of public health. John Bennett is an attorney-turned-comedian who resides in Manhattan. Originally from Connecticut, John often makes himself the butt of his own jokes, playing up Connecticut stereotypes that may or may not be true. John’s high-energy stage presence and extended story-style jokes have made him a favorite amongst crowds in the tristate area, and a regular at several New York City clubs. Stand Up NY, established in 1986, celebrates its 40th Anniversary. It is one of New York City's premier comedy clubs, and comedians like Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Amy Schumer have graced our stage while continuing to showcase the best comedy New York has to offer with shows from NY to LA. Stand Up NY Times Square is at Bond 45, 221 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036.
