The Wounded Cobra Theatre Presents Borrowing Funny An Award-Winning Comedy by Matt Wexler (Best Stage Play, 2025 New York Script Awards) Love comedy? You'll love it! Hate comedy? You'll love it! In the year 1999, national comic headliner and infamous joke thief, Tennille Kincaid, is brazenly confronted (mid-comedy show) by hometown comedian, Jacey Weisz, for stealing one of the burgeoning comedian’s favorite jokes. Comedy and madness ensue, culminating in a greenroom face-off among the 5 dysfunctional characters that will forever alter the trajectory of the stand-up profession. The Wounded Cobra Theatre presents an illegally legal 90's joke heist in two acts.
