<p><strong>About</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Let's Go Mental - Open Mic @ Hotel Edison Times Square (228 W 47 St New York)</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Sign up, show up, go up – 10 comics, cap. 5 mins each.</strong></p><p></p><p>Join us every Wednesday, 5:00-6:00 PM, at the Hotel Edison's Times Square lobby for "Let’s Go Mental," a free standup comedy open mic supporting the 988 Lifeline, co-sponsored by <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://GuberJokes.com">GuberJokes.com</a> &nbsp;and <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://standupny.com/">Stand Up NY.</a> All performance fees are covered by <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://GuberJokes.com">GuberJokes.com</a>, a Smile Message Service that supports mental health and emerging comics.</p><p></p><p>Please come sign in by 4:55 PM and would appreciate it if you could stay for the hour, respecting other comedians. <strong>The mic show is in a public, family-oriented space, so please keep your material PG-13.</strong></p><p></p><p>Try out new jokes or parts of your usual set. It is a beautiful space, with people coming in and out, expect them to sit and watch or just pass on by. It should be fun; it is a great workout for comedians. Feel free to do crowd work.</p><p></p><p><strong><span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34)">Attention Comics: </span>What’s PG-13?</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>PG-13 means no cursing, no sexually explicit and graphic content, and no suicide jokes.</strong>&nbsp;It’s a hotel lobby with families and children present,&nbsp;let’s be respectful and make it fun for everyone!&nbsp;*Please avoid saying the word "suicide" altogether, actually.</p>
