Jim Spinnato has spent more than three decades turning nightclub stages into scenes of chaos, laughter, and genuine disbelief. A former U.S. Air Force serviceman turned full-time entertainer, he built his name as a straight magician before layering in comedy hypnosis, evolving into the sharp-witted hybrid act he's known for today. Since 2011, Spinnato has held a standing residency at Comix Roadhouse at Mohegan Sun, where his shows have played to thousands of guests and earned him TripAdvisor's "Best of the Best" honor for 2025. His signature bit — reading minds with the help of "the world's only mindreading goose" — has become legend among regulars, backed by sleight-of-hand card work engineered to leave grown adults genuinely stumped. Spinnato now headlines his all-new Anything Goes Magic Show weekly at Comix Roadhouse — Thursday and Friday at 5pm, Saturday at 4pm, Sunday at 5pm — with his Comedy Hypnosis Show running bimonthly. Strictly 18+, the show trades rabbits and wands for stand-up comedy, audience roasting, and unpredictable, mind-blowing magic built for a rowdier crowd. He's also brought the act to the Garde Arts Center, Six Flags New England, UConn, Providence College, Post University, and dozens of corporate and private events across New England.
