Our People's Promise:Our People's Promise: Comedy Fundraiser show. Join us for an afternoon Comedy show at the Neighborhod Comedy Theatre in downtown mesa. All proceeds from this show go to helping the team raise funds for their Comedy Pilot: About the Show: The show, based on real-life experience, follows youth activists all working at the same non-profit. It explores their social dynamics, adventures, and their formation into a small, dysfunctional family. This story serves not only as a way to make people laugh, but as a call to action to inspire other young people to get involved in their community--- as well as several ideas for how to do so. This pilot follows the group as they try to advocate for a menstrual equity bill, and the obstacles they must overcome to do it.
