Come check out one of Chicago's best longform improv teams, Three Actors Living in a Cave (Ollie Hobson, Mike Brunlieb, and Kyle Bethea) on Thursdays at 9:30pm, 8/20 - 10/8! Joined each week by Lerin (Lauren Frost and Erin Washington) and a rotating guest team! About Three Actors Once upon a time three poor cooks rode upon a huge wooden boat to sail around the world, but it did crash into a coral reef and all 800 aboard were drowned or stung to death except for the three poor cooks. They clung to a floating wardrobe trunk and washed upon the shore of a strange island. There they wandered for seven days and were bitten again and again by poisonous snakes. On the eighth day, tortured by painful fevers, they found refuge in a damp cave where they ate moss and acted out warped little scenarios for one another until they passed away. Their corpses were well preserved by the cool wet cave air and you can visit the island and look at their dead bodies, faces frozen in jest to this very day.
