With the help of some of Chicago’s best actors, Improv: The Play is a new, hybrid version of long form improv happening only at the iO Theater. Each night, professional actors prepare a scene from a play. Their scene partners, however, are never given a script, and must improvise their way through the scene. The result is a totally original, never before seen piece of theater. It’s drama, it’s comedy, it’s everything that’s magical about theater and improvisation.
