Sketch Reassignment Surgery is an all-trans sketch troupe featuring some of Chicago's most visible trans comedians. Our mission is simple: to make a sketch comedy transition. By exploring themes like gender as simulacrum, the feminine grotesque, and queer deconstructionism — we’re slicing open the body of traditional sketch comedy and reconstructing it in our own image.
