Improv Asylum is proud to present a very special evening as Kevin McDonald of The Kids in the Hall takes the stage in Kevin McDonald, Superstar, a rip-roaring comic rock opera that takes the audience on an explosive ride through the early days of The Kids in the Hall, past relationships, personal follies, and the glory days of the ‘90s comedy scene that shaped it all. Written by McDonald, Kevin McDonald, Superstar is based on the true story of his relationship with his girlfriend “Cheater” and a stupid, awful thing he did in New York City while traveling with the Kids in the Hall. The show boasts an eclectic cast of stellar comedic and musical talent, including members of Improv Asylum’s Main Stage cast and community. Don’t miss this one-off special event! IMPORTANT TO KNOW 📍 We are located at 216 Hanover St, Boston. Right under CVS. 🍺 Full Bar. No drink minimum. 🚪 Lobby opens 1 hour, and doors open 30 minutes before show time. ⌛ Performance is 90 minutes with an intermission. 🚩 The show contains some adult language and themes and is recommended for audience members aged 16 and above.
