Love is beautiful. Love is magical. Love is also an absolute disaster. Hopeless Romantic is a rom-com sketch comedy show about the awkward, ridiculous, exhilarating, and occasionally humiliating experience of trying to find love. From first dates and grand gestures to mixed signals, heartbreak, and everything that happens when romance doesn’t quite go according to plan, this show celebrates the comedy of figuring it out one disaster at a time. Part of Improv Cincinnati’s Director Series, Hopeless Romantic is an original show conceived and directed by Dan Wasik, featuring an ensemble of IC performers bringing the familiar world of romantic comedies to life onstage. Come fall in love. Or at least have a good laugh trying. About Clifton Comedy Theatre: Clifton Comedy Theatre is a subterranean blackbox venue located at the heart of Clifton's gaslight district.
